Terms and Conditions of Booking The placing of an order for an advert with Life West 9 magazine by signing our Booking Form is an acceptance by you ("the Advertiser") of these terms:
1. It is a condition of LIFE WEST 9 accepting any advert that the Advertiser provides products or services to the residents and businesses of London W9.
2. All adverts are printed in good faith. Whilst all reasonable care is taken to ensure the accuracy of the information in LIFE WEST 9 magazine, the publishers accept no responsibility for the accuracy of statements and opinions expressed by the contributors or Advertisers, for any loss arising from non-publication of any advertisement, for the contents of the adverts, the services provided by the Advertisers or for any errors or omissions in either the editorial or advertisements published.
3. Copy for adverts should be sent before the copy deadline date.
4. Any writing or design of an advert or editorial by LIFE WEST 9 is on the basis that the Advertiser has accepted responsibility to ensure provision of accurate information in all respects and that the Advertiser will check the proof of the advert or editorial before it goes to print (printing dates will be provided on request). Where such a request is made or where details are provided less than 48 hours before print deadline, LIFE WEST 9 is unable to guarantee provision of a proof.
5. Advertisements must be submitted in at least one of the following formats: JPEG, TIFF, PDF, and MS Publisher.

7. LIFE WEST 9 cannot and does not take any responsibility for the quality or content of adverts. As to quality, the advert must be a minimum of 300 dpi. Life West 9 cannot and does not ensure reasonable quality for any aspect of any advert if it is less than the required 300 dpi. As to content, it is the responsibility of the Advertiser to ensure that adverts are legal and do not infringe the intellectual property rights (including but not limited to copyright) of any third party. In placing an order for an advert the Advertiser indemnifies and holds harmless LIFE WEST 9 magazine, its publishers, editor and staff against all costs and expenses of defending claims for alleged infringement of intellectual property rights (including but not limited to copyright) of any third party.
8. The Advertiser agrees not to display in another publication any advert designed by LIFE WEST 9 without the express prior written consent of LIFE WEST 9. A charge of GBP20 will be made if permission is granted.
9. LIFE WEST 9 is entitled to refuse adverts, which it considers in its absolute discretion to be defamatory, immoral, indecent or offensive or which promote products that may be considered to be so.
10. LIFE WEST 9 cannot and does not provide any guarantee that an advert or editorial will be successful. No refund is provided if the response to an advert proves disappointing.
11. Placing an order for an advert is an agreement to pay the current advert price by the due date. The due date is the copy deadline date or 7 working days after the issue of your invoice.
12. If payment for series bookings (three or six adverts) is not received by the due date, LIFE WEST 9 has the right to exclude the advert from further Issues of the magazine until full payment has been received.
13. In cases of overdue accounts, LIFE WEST 9 will exercise its statutory rights under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998. In this respect, interest at the rate of 3 percent above base rate per 14 calendar day period will be added, compounded in each such 14-day period on any outstanding balance from the date of the invoice until the date of receipt of payment in full. Also, please be advised that, in accordance with European Directive 2000/35/EC, a debt recovery fee of GBP40 will be charged to cover debt recovery costs.
14. In the case of overdue accounts that give rise to disputes which cannot be quickly resolved, LIFE WEST 9 is entitled to hand the account over to a debt collection agency to recover any amounts outstanding plus costs and interest.
15. Advertisement bookings in 6 Issues or more may be paid by monthly standing order. For a standing order form, contact LIFE WEST 9 by emailing us at

16. Cancellation of a standing order can only take place by informing LIFE WEST 9 a minimum of 7 working days before the next copy date. Failure to do so may result in an advert being included in the following Issue, which will incur a separate fee.
17. LIFE WEST 9 reserves the right to revise its booking rates from time to time on an annual basis, on giving one month's notice.
